Mr. Mitchell represents both public and private employers in matters relating to labor relations, collective bargaining negotiations, personnel and human resources consultation, employment discrimination, wage and hour disputes, claims of discrimination and other general employment matters. He also counsels clients on matters related to the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Pennsylvania Wage Payment and Collection law, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act, the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, and other state and federal laws impacting the work place. Born in Cleveland, Ohio, David attended Grove City College, where he obtained his undergraduate degree. David went on to Miami University, where he obtained a Master of Gerontological Studies. Thereafter, David attended Duquesne University where he earned his juris doctorate. After graduating from law school, David served as an appellate law clerk with the Honorable Joseph A. Hudock of the Pennsylvania Superior Court.
