SUPER LAWYERS
Vicki L. Beatty was named one of Pennsylvania's 2011 Super Lawyers. Super Lawyers are outstanding attorneys in Pennsylvania, representing a wide range of practice areas, firm sizes and geographic locations. Only the top five percent of the lawyers in the state are named Super Lawyers.
Michael A. Palombo was named one of Pennsylvania's Super Lawyers in 2009 and 2010.
How the Super Lawyers were Selected:
The publishers of the bi-monthly magazine, Law & Politics, mailed ballots to approximately 36,000 active Pennsylvania lawyers who have been in practice a minimum of five years. The ballot asked lawyers to nominate the best attorneys they have personally observed in action. The nominees were divided into practice areas. The nominee with the highest point total in each practice area was invited to participate on a review panel. The panelists reviewed and scored a list of nominees from his or her primary practice area. Law & Politics did independent research to identify outstanding attorneys in addition to the ones produced from the survey. Law & Politics verified candidate information by direct contact with the candidates and reviewed the discipline record of each candidate to verify that the candidate was in good standing with the Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania. In the final selection process, candidates were divided according to firm size and geographic location. The top candidates from each group are selected as the Super Lawyers.
