This session will review the various state and federal laws in regards to the age a youth must be to drive a riding lawnmower, to use fire suppression equipment, how many hours a day/week a youth can work, and how to pay them properly under Minimum Wage Laws.

Far too often supervisors see themselves primarily as planners and technicians.  This is changing.  It needs to keep changing.  Good supervisors make their most important contribution by effectively managing personnel.  Supporting the personnel management efforts of your supervisors is critical to your success.  A generally competent supervisor can be trained to be an effective personnel manager.  That training is the best support you can give them.  We will give you a training plan.
